I have lived on Emmett Ave. for 20 years, and the intersection of Emmett ave. and Division st. has always been a dangerous intersection, and this can be attributed to two reasons.
1.) Cars turning onto Emmett Ave. to use the on-ramp to rt.8 south think that Emmett Ave. is an on-ramp only and this is compounded by the fact the the double yellow center lines are always worn down from all the traffic cutting that corner. (and recently they re-paved the bottom 20 feet so there is NO STRIPE AT ALL!
2.) The busy intersection has always been dangerous because it is a 3 way intersection but only 2 out of the 3 have to stop. this causes many near crashes.

I would like to see a good solid double yellow line on Emmett right to the intersection where it should be, and make it a 3 way stop. this will be the safest and best solution to this cronic issue, stopping any more accidents from happening
