There seems to be a large increase of dogs in the neighborhood with owners oblivious to others on the sidewalks who refuse to heel their dogs and give them long leashes which have to be walked over. Many owners are not picking up after their dogs or just throwing the poop bags between cars or in the bushes on the block. It is especially bad on the blocks around the Lenox and 70 Greene.
