What would it take to assign a city cleanup crew twice a month or more to scour a mile or two of Whalley from the Marriott west? It's an important focal point for groceries, restaurants, and other quality stores, and maybe with some love and attention the people inhabiting it would take notice and, who knows, take a little (gulp) pride in their neighborhood?

Nadine: Evan Trachten has been assigned to WEB/Westville/Whalley Ave. area for LCI. I don't have his direct number but he can be reached via the main office I would gather.
Side comment: Whalley between Winthrop & Sherman has that double/triple-wide sidewalk on the southern side of the street. It seems like an ideal place for outdoor markets during the warmer months, as it's otherwise basically wasted space. Such a thing could increase foot traffic in a good way.
