Description
The owners poured a concrete pad in their yard that impeded the side setback. They are calling it a driveway. While no permit is required for a drive a permit is needed to utilize the right of way. In order to create a new driveway that crosses the right of way (sidewalk)you need a permit. You also need an approach with five foot flares at the street. This has neither an approach nor flares. If it did it would cross the property line. Without an approach or flares it is just a slab of concrete on the front yard. All this on top of the eyesore in a residential neighborhood. when you park your car on the street...how do you know where not to park? The Code Compliance Officer asked to resubmit this. Thank you.
