Prowler/attempted burglary: I found a stranger in my locked garage this morning gathering up small tools, etc. He'd been seen prowling neighbors' yards and looking for unlocked doors and bulkheads before breaking a window in my garage door. When confronted, he fled the scene and drove off in a black SUV (Explorer?) parked at the corner of Westwood and Yale Ave. Police were called, but he was long gone. In short, check your locks and make sure everything is secure.
