Description
This garbage has been here for 3 days. This is the norm for Pike who lets their trash blow all over the neighborhood for days. The city needs to crack down on this.

Matthew,, "within the year" lol
Does this company have the same owners that it did when it was new and going to beautiful border areas of New Haven within the Yale community? or is it under new management?

"Within a year"??????? Seriously? So, when people come into town for Arts & Ideas they get to see the trash that piles up at the Foot Locker bus stop? That'll have them coming back again and again, for sure!
Litter isn't the only debris at Foot Locker. There's the problem of the drug deals that occur there as well. A friend of mine has mentioned she is going to catch her bus at another location because she has concerns for her safety!! FL stop still has underwear and an aluminum tray of discarded food beyond the picket fence. There's irony in saying picket fence in the same comment as trash, no? Do something now!!

The Festival of Arts and Ideas is only for 1 weekend now? and I don't know anybody on the list of performers. I remember how great it used to be, and it was two weeks, wasn't it?

You plan to resolve this within a year? Why not immediately?
This looks to be a commercial property. If so, DPW website (http://cityofnewhaven.com/PublicWorks/Trash/Recycling.asp) says a site cleanliness plan (http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/sustainability/PDFs/Site%20Cleanliness%20Plan%20+%20Instructions.pdf) must be submitted. The plan requires detailed information for the handling of trash and recycling (number and size of containers, date and time of pickup, and the name of the licensed hauler). Violations of the plan are subject to a fine EACH DAY that the site is not in compliance (Secton 30 3/4 - 16: https://www.municode.com/library/ct/new_haven/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=TITIIICOGEOR_CH30_3-4WADI_ARTIINGE_S30_3-4_-16SICLPLDURE ). Use the fine to enforce compliance now, not in a year.

Thanks. This really is a beautiful town and it is a shame that the city sits back and allows these piles of trash to fester there for days every week, making it a much less pleasant place to live.
It's not just this location. I've been asking the city to clean up a place on Wooster St. for years (http://seeclickfix.com/issues/719692-garbage-dumped-on-wooster-st, http://seeclickfix.com/issues/1097021-trash-recycling, http://seeclickfix.com/issues/1202834-trash-recycling, http://seeclickfix.com/issues/1354638).
The codes are on the books to prevent this, the city just needs to enforce them.
