I continue to receive tickets for trash being put out too early, but I never put my trash out until the morning of trash day and I bring the cans to my backyard within an hour of pickup. My neighbors are diligent about their trash also, but they receive these unwarranted tickets too. This is either a money grab by the city or a lazy code enforcement officer trying to meet a quota. I've received 3 tickets for no reason over the past 6 months. I've appealed but I have to take a day off from work to fight each one. Is there any way to put a stop to this?
