Deskripsyon

There is no exit lane for people exiting from westbound 696 at Mound Rd. It's very difficult to merge in with the traffic exiting from eastbound 696. People do not get over into the lane. This exit ramp is poorly designed and needs to be re-designed so that there is an exit lane for westbound 696 traffic

I really don't think it is in the taxpayers best interest to spend money to redesign an exit that 99.9% of drivers have no problem with. It was much worse before they put in this new configuration some years ago. How do you ever 'merge' onto 696 if you cannot figure out how to merge into another lane on Mound Rd? The traffic is only heavy on this exit during afternoon rush hour. I'm sorry if you have encountered some rude drivers out there and If it continues to be an issue for you, there are other exits you could take instead. This is NOT an issue that needs to be on this site IMHO.

I agree with re-designing it. I don't think it's a problem of rude drivers so much as a poor design. Pay for it by cutting all the waste from local government which is about 90 percent of the revenue. Having said that, there are a lot of other problems with our roads that should have higher priority.
