I have called animal control several times regarding this issue, as well as other neighbors and NOTHING ever gets done. I live at the top of Rock Pasture, and work from home, and this is disruptive. These dogs bark from 6am everyday, including weekends, until sometimes 9pm at night. They are out there all day with limited shelter, no water and every kind of weather condition possible. The are unlicensed, no vaccines and there is another dog kept in the house who is always getting loose, roaming the streets chasing after people and dogs. I know the dog has been picked up many times and brought to the shelter, and they never are fined, or charged with anything. This is starting to get ridiculous with this town playing favorites with these people. They also have a pot belly pig who also has gotten loose causing an uproar in the neighborhood where the cops where dispatched, and again, nothing was done. They were told to get rid of the pig, but it is still there. It was outside all winter long in a tiny dog crate, and now they have ducks back there. Why is no one taking action? Yet anyone else gets fines, warnings, tickets, etc. Something needs to be done, I need peace at my home, the next step is legal action if nothing gets done. I'm tired of the shelter taking my calls and doing nothing. If this gets me no where, I bet legal action against the shelter will. This is unfair in so many ways that these people are treated like royalty when everyone else gets a charge for nuisance or illegal animals.
