I have noticed that Kearny has placed numerous pedestrian crossing signs around town since the recent pedestrian death. I think its great. However, it upsets me to see these signs run over. It seems to be a waste of money to have to replace them. Can we consider permanent signs planted at the curbs.

Additionally, we need a crossing sign at the pedestrian crossing at Passaic and Ross (I think Ross). This morning I witnessed a car not stop for two boys crossing in the walkway. the driver was honking as if the pedestrians had no business crossing in the cross walk. I wish I could have obtained the plate number. This crossing should be marked better (and painted better) There are a numerous kids crossing to get to the crew house. I think this is important to address.
