This area is scheduled to be repaved when Midland Ave. Is paved.

I know exactly the block you're referring to . . . I drive on it every single night when I come home from work. It's always been this way, even worse during the winter months when there's snow and the salt and plows make it even worse. I don't doubt that you pay a lot in taxes, I believe all Kearny residents do, and considering this, some areas in town are not what you would expect them to be with all the taxes the town collects. Most of the secondary streets are in desperate need of street/pavement repair. Midland Avenue between Quincy and Hickory is just as bad as Forest Junction.

So, we have to wait until the town decides to repave Midland Avenue? This is completely unacceptable.

Both Midland Ave from Kearny Ave to Schuyler Ave, and Forest St. from Midland to the RR tracks, are tentatively scheduled to be repaved this year, most likely in early fall. I agree both of these streets are in rough shape, but they are beyond patching, which is why they are scheduled for repaving. I will check again today, if any large dangerous holes have opened up we will fill them.

We made a tempory patch on Forest Street today to try to hold it over until the repaving in the fall. Please keep in mind this is a patch, not a fix, but it should make it better driving over that portion of road until the repaving takes place. We are going to do the same thing on Midland between Davis and Forest. Hopefully this helps. .

Thank you Very much...I am still hoping they will do the whole road in the fall but at least I can drive on it now. It is still bad when you turn on Schuyler before you get to Davis...some are really deep.

Glad it helped. As soon as the weather breaks we will do Midland heading west from Schuyler. As I said this is just a patch. Both streets will be completely repaved in the fall.

Midland was completed today.
