Description

Wright Avenue feeds high speed traffic into the neighborhood and is aided with a seldom observed yield sign at Frederick street. This is an unnecessarily large intersection and the street has been designed to speed up traffic. We were told at a CMT meeting two years ago by the city planner that this intersection would be changed to come to right angles with Wright and Frederick, thus requiring a left and right turn to continue from Wright onto Green Hill terrace. Wright Ave. has since been repaved without making any changes This intersections dangerous in a car and even more so if walking or biking.
