I agree with this 100%! I stopped cycling this stretch because Alderman-Dow has put my life in serious danger not only with the traffic that I have to go in the OPPOSITE LANE to get around, but the insane amount of glass on the road. The public thoroughfare of Chapel St should not be their private parking / waiting area! Traffic/Parking and/or LCI, can we get this area cleaned up? Alerman-Dow should have to abide by the same street use laws as everyone else! Thanks.

Ditto! I drive by AD everyday to and from work it's always a traffic mess and dangerous. The city needs to start monitoring the situation and resolve this issue ASAP. Been going on for years!!!

These seems like a duplicate issue - this problem has not been addressed for years, despite being mentioned as a top priority in city plans going back to 2003. Please comment on these SCF tickets and let the city know that 10 years without anything being done is unacceptable.

i have avoided this stretch on bicycle rides for years for this very same reason.

i got a flat tire here once and it was a terrible stretch to be nearly invisible to cars speeding around trucks illegally parked.

It's an industrial area. People wait in line, the employees do direct traffic, and their closest neighbor is a cement plant.

Mark the road is not the industrial area, the private businesses are. The road is a public thoroughfare and should not be used by a private businesses, especially to the detriment of vehicles attempting to use the road. Every time I cycled through there the road was littered with glass and bits of trash from AD's scrapping business, and there were no employees directing traffic. It was and is a dangerous situation that should not be allowed to continue.
