Description
This car is parked dangerously close to the intersection of
S. Washington and Ferley. It's been there for a week and with the snow, it's a hazard. A car coming around the corner almost hit me today. If it's not moved by tomorrow evening, I'll need to call the police. I don;t want anyone to get hurt.

I am closing this as the car is gone. But I am watching.

I am glad that we have been able to resolve this issue. For future reference the LPD may not respond to the issue as the street is not posted as ‘no parking’. I found another agency which is more sympathetic. I spoke to the Parking Sargent (483-4667), and as the car was there for 24 hours; it can be consider abandoned and can be ticketed.
I’m also going to contact Andrew Kilpatrick to see about having the street posted with signs as “no-parking” especially considering the fact that the street is quite narrow and often used as a short-cut between South Washington and M L King Jr Blvd. He is at the Transportation Dept. 517-483-4247.
