Contact interior affairs

Well, these complaints are 'alleged', and he hasn't been found guilty yet. However, it is worth calling for him to be investigated and the complaint put in his record.
I think it's Police Department Internal Affairs,, but I usually ask for public relations and let them put me to internal affairs,, that way it's registered in two offices.

I got an official complaint form last time I put in a complaint,, but I didn't get it for 3 weeks! lol

Good luck. The USA has too many people who become cops for the wrong reasons, and when they get in they are bullies with badges.

A few weeks ago I approached a cop in Wooster square at about noon or so to ask a question and his reply: "can't you see I'm eating my lunch", I am not kidding. He was average in height and was an African American weighing almost 300 pounds.

Jon you do know they get a lunch period and if you saw him eating common courtesy would suggest that you wait till he is done before interrupting his meal. He could have been more polite in pointing out your rudeness.

How can the content be blocked by rejections but the issue still open, and commenting allowed? Can the original poster please abide by the rules and describe the problem without name-calling and just describe the issue in a re-post?

Actually, the original post could be redone omitting the name, but then even more necessary to call the police dept and report him. You could report it to the shift commander,, to public relations, and to internal affairs,, but I think internal affairs would be more likely to lose it.

A lot of cops now are much less 'community policing' than a few years ago.. they act more like an occupying army. they are nervous and their adrenalin makes them grumpy and trigger happy.

We really need to do better screening and then better training, followed up by responding to public feedback.

My question would have taken less than a minute and it was very pertinent to an issue that I just witnessed! This officer was not in his patrol SUV car but walking to the bench outdoors. Joan: your comment is either completely absent-minded about the basic role of a police officer when on-duty OR you are intentionally choosing to be a troll!

This officer in refreshing my memory was actually walking to the park bench and was about to eat, so no "interruption" took place since. I called this officer's supervisor and Sgt. Koenig actually agreed with me Joan, so please educate yourself accordingly.
