Description

How do we get speed humps on Courtland? People have been flying down the road, going over 45+ mph. I tried to find some info regarding neighborhood petitions, etc. but didn't see anything on the cities website. My neighbors and I all have children that play on this road. It's dangerous to have all these speed racers trying to make the green light onto Fairfield Ave. I only see this getting worse with the monstrosity the city is allowing to be built on the corner of Courtland and Fairfield Ave.

there are stop signs every 500 feet. the drive by st mary’s is already ruined by you geniuses because you have to focus on the speed bumps instead of the view.

Stop signs and stop lights don't stop the hot-rodders. South ave is horrible with cars speeding down to the beach area and they often don't stop (ask me how I know!) Speed bumps would help down that stretch of road, too.

I would like to vote for speed bumps on Courtland, as well as officers who actually pay attention to the speeders and the vehicles who don’t stop at the 4-way stop signs at Courtland and Gilman. Too many near misses there!

I agree that something needs to be done on Courtland. The fast driving continues to worsen. I’ve seen cars not stop at the Midland intersection. Delivery vehicles and occasional large trucks tend to speed through as well.

We are talking about Gilman to Courtland Avenue heading to the light at Fairfield Avenue. There are many who drive 45+ on this road. Make the light at Courtland longer so there is no point in racing?

then limit your request to adding a speed bump on courtland but only on the north side of gilman between gilman and fairield ave. frankly the ride along st mary’s has been absolutely destroyed with all those speed bumps. be strategic. we have an engineer that is supposed to be a traffic expert
