I would assume that since this is inside a shopping center it's private property and therefor up to the owner to enforce or tow those who are parked incorrectly.

The police liberally hand out tickets to others in this shopping center for parking in this clearly marked fire zone. I dont know why this, as it actually presents a pedestrian and vehicle danger, should be an exception or allowed at all. It is not just annoying, when it is in this spot it creates a choke point and during high traffic hours there will eventually be an accident. The vehicle can be parked 16 feet away in a parking spot and it can still be seen if this is for advertising. It may be inconvenient to walk an additional few steps, but a responsible business owner should be considerate of the customers here, and obey the law.

This shopping center clearly has this fire zone marked. It has to do with traffic and there is a persistent danger created by this and other vehicles that do this. With a business doing this repeatedly in an area near steps for pedestrians and creating a choke point for traffic, it would be prudent to attempt to enforce the code/law here to prevent an accident. This is apparently the proper forum for this as there are multiple similar reports, perhaps there may be a better category. Also it is a problem because there is dense pedestrian and vehicle traffic here. As a concerned citizen, this is a great forum to bring this to the attention of the city and to the other citizens that may have a concern for the safety of children and others in their community.
