It's bad enough when residents speed down Bishop St, a family friendly st with lots of children, but I just witnessed a NH Parks pickup truck turn off Orange and speed down Bishop to State at about 50 mph. Emergency lawn mowing?

with a speed limit near Orange. Having a stop light installed is a nice idea but it would require
a study and approval by the city before any light is installed. That could take a year or longer.
Put in a phone call to the police dept. regarding speeding and ask if they could monitor the
area.

Issue from 2011. I have followed up on more recent reports to SCF of city vehicles violating traffic laws, and please report any such instances you see with as much identifying information as possible. Please report as either "traffic/road safety" category, or "policing issue" if it is a police vehicle to ensure it comes to the proper person's attention promptly.
