Description
AT the entrance to the Quinnipiac River Park at the corner of Grand Avenue and Front St, there is increasing rat infestation. Their holes are in the rocky section of the bank that stretches from the park entrance to the promenade. Some of these rats are quite large especially one that haunts the trash bin and seats at the entrance of the Park. Rats and rivers go together - that we know -but do we want a public park to have such an infestation? Should some steps be taken to exterminate the present lot before we have a major colony?

Ack! I do not desire to involve plague precautions in my dog's life! http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+2102&aid=337
At a minimum, we could start addressing the trash problem better throughout the park. But how?
