It's getting bad again. It quieted down for a bit, but it's now rampant, overnights and especially weekends. WHY IS THE DIRTBIKE HOTLINE VOICEMAIL ALWAYS FULL???

I was actually driving down Edgewood Avenue toward the park and there was a police car stationed near the center green strip around 4 p.m. There were also 2 motorcycles speeding between Frontage Road and Chapel Street on the Boulevard. There were also numerous cars parked on the Edgewood Avenue green strip between Norton and Winthrop. Police can't be everywhere. The good news is there were many people enjoying the park and playing tag, football, etc. on the green strip and in neighboring front yards. I would rather see kids and adults riding bikes than motorcycles and ATV's for safety reasons, but the great weather brought out the good with the bad.

They started on Hubinger St this morning around 11am. 2 quads and several dirt bikes. I called the police again today. These are the same young men that terrorize the park.

They all start out and end up at 79-81 Hubinger ST. I've told the police multiple times that they are home based on 79-81 Hubinger ST. I've seen a trailer there with 6 bikes on it once.

Chasing them is not the answer. Making them pay fines and have the bikes destroyed would do it. Let them know that if they have a motor vehicle violation resulting from illegal and reckless driving on dirt bikes would hamper their ability to get and keep a drivers license.

He will respond to emails and calls. If you report a known ATV or dirt bike location to him, he will investigate and confiscate the machines.
