Amen! Two men were shouting at close range into the microphones, and the amps were turned up so far that it was LOUD and annoying all the way at the other end of the green. I understand that some people feel strongly about wanting to celebrate and promote their affection for Jesus Christ (the subject of all the amplified shouting), but this seems an inappropriate use of our town's main public space. It would be so nice to be able to use the Green for reading, picnicking, or talking with friends on a fine Saturday afternoon, and this kind of activity really prevents that from happening.
