Deskripsyon
Medford Street between Somerville Avenue and the Cambridge city line (particularly near the rail road crossing) is in deplorable condition. Cobblestones are sticking out of the ground, and the repeated pavement patching in the area has not made conditions any better. A document on the city website (http://www.somervillema.gov/sites/default/files/SomervilleStreetsPlan6-12-2013.pdf) assures us that this street was repaved as part of the 2013 Street Reconstruction program, but absolutely nothing has been done. The false information and lack of communication from the city on this issue is unacceptable. When is this road scheduled to repaved?

Could you also answer the question the original poster asked, which is "when is this road scheduled to be repaved?"
Thanks!

Good Afternoon Alex,
Here is the information that I received for this request. The street will be paved after utilities are run to 9-39 Medford st. permits were held up until the property got their permits to work on the site from the MBTA. it is still on the 2013 street list. utilities will be completed soon and this street will be repaved next spring. paving doesn't happen between Nov 15 and April1. The city moratorium does not permit paving a street then cutting into said street for utility installation. I hope this helps.
