Description

For the second time in as many weeks, I report a commercial vehicle belonging to Clover parked in a "by permit only" spot on the residential side of the street. I see no Cambridge parking permit on this vehicle. I called the Traffic, Parking and Transportation department, as suggested last time, but no response at 4:30pm. Is the yellow square "Triangle Parking Permit" in the lower right of the windshield valid for this spot? What is that? Can someone check it out and enforce accordingly? If this vehicle does not have a valid parking permit for this spot but parking there is fine, are the residents and public allowed to park in the marked loading and "15-minute pickup" zones on the opposite side of the street, like Clover does with their vehicles on a permanent basis, without getting ticketed or towed? Any information on the lawful parking requirements and limitations on this block of Elm Street would be most welcome because I don't understand why I have seen residents and the public frequently getting ticketed but rarely if ever Clover vehicles parked in exactly the same spots.
