As I passed this spot, workers with Trash Master of East Haven had started the crushing mechanism on their truck and a foul-smelling liquid cascaded from it, all over the street. I asked who would be cleaning that up and one of the men muttered the word "water." Upon passing the same spot 40 minutes later, the liquid was still there, stinking to high heaven. Shouldn't the company be liable for cleaning spilled garbage on a public street?
