When a city sanitation vehicle carelessly ran into and knocked over a full grown Live Oak, killing the tree, at my neighbor's house, the woman from the city threatened my neighbor with a law suit for not keeping the tree trimmed back. The neighbor then received an intimidation letter from an attorney in Houston strongly advising my neighbor to not pursue having the city replace the tree. How can you say that the city has no ordinance for tree trimming at the street after the city treated this resident like that!? It was obviously nobody else's fault but the driver of the sanitation vehicle.

How can you say there is no tree trimming ordinance after a sanitation truck driver carelessly ran into an entire Live Oak tree in my neighbor's yard near the street!? After the city killed the tree, the woman who came out ftom the city threatened to sue my neighbor for not trimming the branches on the tree!

Who is responsible for trimming limbs over the sidewalk where the creek is? THere are limbs hanging over where you can't walk - you have to step off the side walk and walk around the limbs. Please trim the limbs.
