RE: Whitney Ave. 5K & Marathon Road Race Sept 01. : there are numerous potholes on Whitney Ave. near Cold Spring and along the Grove/ Wall/Elm Street section to the Finish Line. While there is a "Release" on the entry form, it would be less hazardous, less treacherous in this National Event to patch these.

Please note the following: There are three holes (PH) approx. 2" (+-) deep near the following WHITNEY Ave intersections: Canner, Grove and Wall Streets. While not precisely on 5K race route there is a deeper PH w/exposed aggregate/stone sub-base near center-line, just north of the Cold Spring and Whitney intersection.
