This seems way overblown. Lots of people with carefully pruned hedges block the sidewalks and no-one complains. And sidewalks are the city's doing, but as they told me when they stopped repairing them halfway up my block, they're basically out of money. Let's reserve this site for more serious complaints, okay?

Public Works hasn't swept my neighborhood for several months why???

Is it fixed ? Are the bushes trimmed back away and off of the sidewalk ? Completely removed to one can pass with sticks,bushes prohibiting passage ? Poison ivy rubbing against one's neck..
Cut the bushes , no big deal , it's a legitimate complaint. No need for long drawn out rants or diatribes , The worse is watching University Properties come out swinging in defense of their neglected houses(the one on Bishop).
