Thanks to Troy for highlighting this again this year. I'd just been noticing it myself over the past week or so.

This has become an ongoing, yearly problem.

The owner is elderly and I'm pretty sure lives out of state. Still, there are basic responsibilities to property owning. Because of the neglect, the house in summer becomes even more apparently unoccupied, and thus not only blights the neighborhood as it stands, but potentially invites more serious problems.

We believe that the property tax payments on the house ARE maintained. Perhaps the city could contact whoever it is that pays them, with some words about the necessity to maintain the property itself, and not just the tax payments?

House is clearly abandoned and has been for several years. Lawn not mowed, snow never removed from sidewalks. A pretty house and property that is a problem for the neighborhood.

Still has not been addressed. Lawn is awful! Peeling paint, overgrown bushes, a real eyesore!
