GOA 4/24/12

This car should not have been marked as "GOA." It is still sitting in the exact same location. It has still not moved. You can see a ring of dirt settled under the car it's been there so long.

It seems to me that if the car is properly registered and insured the unmoved legally parked vehicle most likely belongs to either a retired neighborhood resident or one that may be ill and unable to operate the vehicle at the present time. I hope at your concern, with the unmoved legally parked and registered vehicle, is actually for the health and welfare of its owner.

A few points:
1. It is not properly registered. There is no residential parking permit.
2. It does not belong to any of the residents on the street.
3. There is a parking ordinance that requires all vehicles to be moved for street cleaning on Mondays and as a result of this car not being moved, the street has not been cleaned in over a month.
4. Even if it did belong to a neighbor, DC Parking enforcement should not have marked this issue as GOA (Gone on Arrival) as it is clearly not "gone." It should be marked properly.

5. I want to make sure the car is not stolen or abandoned. Prior to this past month of parking, the car has never been seen on this block.
