A picture of the house that is shown on the Bridgeport GIS map. This house states it has 2 bedrooms but according to Airbnb it has 5 bedrooms

Now compare the pictures and see they are one and the same.

So when is this going to be resolved. Beginning to think someone knows someone and things are purposely being overlooked.

I am a neighbor and am getting tired of all the different people coming and going when they aren't supposed to be there to begin with

To anonymous, I reported 2 years ago when the machinery was in the backyard. Personally spoke with Zoning and still nothing done. City did go out and the owner who lives in Stamford answered via a ring doorbell, per City Official; stated he lived there and felt he was being harrassed. The City Official left and no one has gone back.
The listing for this Air BnB states someone can rent upstairs, downstairs or entire house...so the house is now a 2 family? The City records do not show the same.
This past weekend someone from New York rented the house and took kayaks out on the lake with a toddler without lifejackets. How irresponsible of both the renter and the owner of the Air BnB. Typical ZERO response from the City.

Maybe its time to contact a news reporter to seek out why all the city officials from zoning right up to the mayors office have ignored this issue

Not an Air BnB? Why would someone need to bring utensils and dishes to the house for someone who doesn't live there - just renting.

Now that its after 3pm and renters are checking in (booked on site from 7/8 - 7/10

Maybe someone should go visit the house today .. so far 4 cars in driveway and 1 at bottom of driveway all with out of state plates but 1

"I had a lengthy conversation with Zoning Inspector Neil Bonney regarding the above mentioned property being used as an AIrbnb.

He indicated that he is aware of the problems that the neighbors are having with this particular property. He has been to the site, but he can not enter the property to determine the use of the house. In order for him to declare that the owner is in violation of the zoning regulations, he needs proof that the property is being used for short term lodging, the true owner of the property ( which sometimes is not the name on the land records), and other evidence that he can present to Prosecutor’s Office to get a Cease and Desist Order.

I mentioned that the ongoings on this property is creating a serious problem regarding quality of life issues for the adjacent homeowners. He indicated “that is a police matter.”

Unfortunately, there is not much that he can do without sufficient evidence that he can present to the Prosecutor’s Office to pursue the matter. If either one of you has any information that would be useful to him to prove his case, you can forward it to him.Please let me know if I can help in any other way.

Click on the Airbnb link. Then go to the property when people are renting this. How hard is that!

I will be happy to go down to zoning's office and sit with Mr. Bonney and go over all the documents so he can print and provide to the Prosecutor.. no one answers the phone or returns calls.

Zoning has issued (8/19/21) an Order to Comply/Cease & Desist!

So what does cease and desist mean? There are still people renting this? 3 cars from out of state last night.

Order to Comply/Cease & Desist was issued on 8/19 and sent certified mail he has 10 days from date of letter/order to comply. Since he does not live at the address the post office left a notice he must pick up.

If you email me i am happy to send you a copy of whats been issued so far to date as the remaining depts are working on additional stuff.. since i cant post any photos here
