Notified About

  • Lenox Avenue And Melrose Street Providence, RI - Elmwood

UPDATE: This has slowed due to the season and colder weather. Guarantee this will begin anew the first warm day of spring.

There are countless cars playing loud music at all times of the day and night, but particularly Fri, Sat and Sun nights, from say 6PM-3am and Sat and Sunday afternoons. This street is a cut through to Broad Street and to get to the nightclubs/ highway, so we see a lot of traffic, not all of it loud, but easily 40-50 a day sometimes. This is all over Elwmood, not specific to this one intersection. Most cars at this time also do not stop at the 4 way stop sign.

  • 33 Atlantic Ave Providence, RI - Elmwood
There is a 12 ' high mound of trash in front of this house at all times. It seems as soon as the city takes anything away, another mound appears. Cars are being stripped in the back lot - new ones there all the time and within hours they are unrecogizable
  • 79 Elmwood Ave Providence, RI - West End

Oil spills in apron surrounding Auto Zone, just before the Watershed Sign on Elmwood Avenue, Providence. DEM was notified about this and so have the News outlets.

I am a resident of Elmwood, and I think this type of pollution should be on the news.

  • 56-98 Greenwich St Providence, RI 02907, USA - West End
There is an elementary school( leviton annex) on Greenwich st. There is no speed bump or crosswalk. There should be. So many cars speed down this small street. Let's be preventative, and get this done before something serious happens!
  • 51 Niagara St Providence, RI - Elmwood
ILLEGAL RETAIL OPERATION AND ILLEGAL COMMERCIAL SIGNAGE OPERATING OUT OF A RESIDENCE - R2 ZONE. NOTE: THIS COMPLAINT HAS BEEN STANDING SINCE OCTOBER 14, 2010 WITH THE CITY OF PROVIDENCE. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.
  • Elmwood Ave And Potters Ave Providence, RI - West End
There are a few large potholes on Elmwood and potters ave. I have had to go into other lane to avoid them please fix this.
  • 126 Melrose St Providence, RI 02907, USA - Elmwood
The intersection at Adelaide and Melrose needs two more stop signs: drivers stop voluntarily on Adelaide. Two ROAD NARROWS signs are installed behind trees on Melrose at this intersection. The speed tables in the neighborhood stress cars and users; then they forgot to lower the speed limit to 15mph! Lots of expensive traffic control devices for poor traffic design.
  • Potters Ave Providence, RI - Elmwood
All of potters ave needs to be re paved.there are currently HUGE potholes in which you must drive onto other side of ten street to avoid. Just filling these every couple months does not work, as you must know, since that has been the only solution to the problem for numerous years. Please spend the money and re pave the entire street.....and please don't forget huntington ave....just as bad! Thanks
  • 39 Elmwood Providence, RI 02907, USA - West End
Lots between arch st and Wilson street are overgrown and covered in litter. There is some old fencing next to the pawn shop which is falling down, and some intoxicated gentlemen have decided to call home. The lots need to be cleaned regardless, but the vagrants are making a bad situation worse and are definitely adding to the mess here.
  • 2-26 Bridgham St Providence, RI 02907, USA - West End
    Several all along bridgahm.
  • 963 Broad St Providence, RI 02907, USA - Elmwood
Turning left from Broad to Thurbers, the green light behaves like a green turn arrow because oncoming traffic still have a red. But, someone unfamiliar with the intersection wouldn't know this. This creates confusion, angry drivers stuck behind people waiting for oncoming traffic, and most dangerously, people who automatically turn left when they reach the intersection, assuming that oncoming traffic still has a red. I have seen several near hits here.
Please make the traffic light reflect the actual function of the intersection.
