Cawthra Road Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga
There were two accidents today just at Dundas & Cawthra, and North Service & Cawthra. Both involved injuries, and at least the first involved a pedestrian. The second just happened about 5 minutes ago.
Cawthra has a speed limit of 50 km/hr for a reason. Please, please stop maiming people with vehicles.
This is ridiculous and a stop needs to be put to this now. This situation violates a city citizen's basic human rights to be able to leave their front door unscathed.

I noticed at least one hole in the Tim Horton's by the north-west doors. The grout between the bricks is coming out and the foundation has moved away from the building, or lacks the trim that once ran around the store.
The parking lot is in incredible disrepair - it's sinking and warping and cracking. A lot of semi-trucks move through here.

Fractures in Petro Canada's Gas Tank Platform. There is a matching set on the right side of this photo.
Google Maps pinpoints the Petro at Park Street, but it's actually on the south-east corner of Eaglewood - a street north.

1250 South Service Road Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga
This old, but now dead tree balances at the chain link fence in the North-East Parking that reads "Do Not Pile Snow Against Fence." It could either fall 1) into the parking lot, or 2) on to the caged aqueduct that ensures proper drainage in the area.
The wall that supports the ground of the parking lot where the aqueduct runs through - right where the tree resolutely remains for the time being - is cracked. More photos to follow.

I frequently see drivers park and idle outside Tim Horton's at Dixie Mall. So much so that there are oil stains and an oil puddle on the mall's North-East Fire Route.
Fire trucks could just batter the vehicle that's illegally parked if they respond to a call at Dixie Mall, but there's no reason to delay emergency responders.

35 Viking Lane Toronto, Ontario - TorontoSince the flash floods on July 8th, my commute between Kipling & Lansdowne on the Bloor Line has become especially jerky and shaky. The trains stagger between Islington and Kipling, throwing passengers back and forth as drivers stop and start along the track incessantly. I had long time known Yonge between College and Bloor was terribly jolting, but this change to the Bloor Subway Line happened with the floods, and was very sudden.

1230-1250 Parkwest Place Mississauga, Ontario - MississaugaThe only reason you can tell it's different from all the rest in the area is because of the graffiti tag.

Sunken Cable TV Box [#3/5 July 25] Archived1204 Parkwest Place Mississauga, Ontario - MississaugaIt's amazing that I even have working cable. Or someone hasn't been electrocuted poking things into these opening boxes. This is actually on the north-east corner of Village Green.
-
1204 Parkwest Place Mississauga, Ontario - MississaugaThe ground has sunken around these service boxes, hence the leaning.

815 Atwater Avenue Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga
This is on the opposite side of the street as Cawthra Pool and Secondary School.
Somehow this slab of sidewalk has remained intact as it sinks at the north-east corner. Workers have bothered to file the piece of sidewalk that attaches to this one on the east side, as well as dump asphalt in the one corner to make an awkward ramp. I don't terribly appreciate this as I am still healing from a torn ligament I suffered at Bloor & Islington.

The most sunken and broken of the five cable boxes that I photographed today.
Located opposite Village Green Blvd, on the west-side of Cawthra.
