Guinevere

  • 1189 Lakeshore Road East Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga
One of the most interesting-styled cracks I have seen thus far after the flash flood of July 8th.
  • 1141-1147 Lakeshore Road East Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga
Hazardous to cyclists, pedestrians, and pets. But I feel this does speak to the integrity of the ground beneath and around Lakeshore Rd.
  • Alexandra Ave & 3rd St Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga
More cracks galore in the City of Mississauga. This street is heavily neglected, for all its traffic, it is not safe.
  • 771-803 Village Green Boulevard Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga
While this looks "neat," it is a tripping hazard. The tree's roots now have free reign of the pathway.
  • South Service Rd Btwn Cawthra & Dixie Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga

There are many cracks forming in the wall lining the QEW. The bottom slabs are especially finely cracked, like China. The structure is leaking rust. The angles concrete foundation is cracked at nearly every joint.

Many poles lining the road are leaning.

  • 1250 South Service Road Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga

I started snapping photos of the trees while a friend went in for coffee because a loud 'CRACK!' came from the treeline between the parking lot and Dixie Road on the east side of the mall. It scared me out of my car. I found branches laying on the ground, and damaged or dying trees.

Update: Over the weeks I notice that more trees are dead and others still turning brown.

  • 1140 Park Place Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga

It's unsettling that I have reported it to 905-615-3000 and it's still sitting there. Looks like someone attempted to black it out at one point, but the yellow cuss words are shining through clear as day.

Located at the south end of the park, by the GO tracks, where three pathways meet.

  • 1050 Lakeshore Road East Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga
This property is not in good shape.
  • 1015-1021 Alexandra Avenue Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga

Right on the north-east corner, where people walk to the bus stop, there is an open-ended pipe sticking from the ground by a fire hydrant.

The westbound side of the road at Alexandra and Lakeshore is thoroughly cracked and hunks of asphalt are going missing, making potholes.

  • 1105-1107 Alexandra Avenue Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga
A Consumer Gas pipe is sticking up out of sidewalk; the rails are broken apart and twisted; and the asphalt to cross the tracks has separated from the tracks and poses tripping hazards.
  • 3846 Lakeshore West Toronto, Ontario - Toronto

The earth on the south side of this manhole has sunken and there is hole developing on the west side. It's next to the sidewalk on Lakeshore, across the street from Long Branch.

I am unsure as to how deep the hole is, or if the ground could support a human. I was not willing to volunteer.

  • 3846 Lakeshore West Toronto, Ontario - Toronto
Huge tripping hazard. Could also take someone's services out, whatever the cables are for.
  • 1140 Park Place Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga
This thick green water has been sitting here since the rain on July 8th.
  • 3751 Lakeshore Blvd W Etobicoke, Ontario - Toronto
Jutting wall that supports the facade of the Moose lodge, on its left side, is cracked right through and spans about 4 feet
  • 1250 S Service Rd Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga

There is alarming grate damage in the Dixie Mall parking - spiderweb fractures that radiate out. There are more cracks along S Service Rd and the wall that lines the QEW.

There was already a giant sinkhole that stretched from North Service Rd across the westbound lanes of the QEW in the months before the flood.

Apt residents at 255 N Service Rd were evacuated after the flood. Told they were unlikely to return in the near future because of structural damage.

  • 625 Atwater Avenue Mississauga, Ontario - Mississauga

There has been a long-standing empty lot at the south-west corner of Cawthra and Atwater. It's not maintained, there's a sinkhole there that has taken out some of the curb and has now cracked the road all the way through almost a foot. The flood has not been kind to this area.

There are stress fractures along the road toward St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church across the street.

This is something to see with your own eyes.
