Nails, long screws, & debris on sidewalk-this whole ugly unsafe site should have been cleaned up weeks ago, even despite the weather.

Maybe the city considering other ways to support the ice rink instead of tons of crushed gravel etc even moving to Church street and blocking off the street during holiday time.? Thank you. .... a-

This morning at 7am, as I passed 7 homeless people sleeping under the bridge, I had the pleasure of noticing where people are going to the bathroom among the holly trees next to the bridge.

These tolieting areas need to be cleared of trash & human waste.

I, along with many others, walk/run downtown at Big Spring several times a week around 645am.

Ive become used to running by a homeless person or two sleeping under the bridge there, but got a bit nervous when there was a dog there too (as I don't know the reaction would be).

Most importantly, we ran by a man urinating in the holly trees next to the bridge the other morning.

This sleeping/bathroom area should be curtailed before something g happens with a tourist on a morning run/walk.

    Please consider. Thank you.

TOXIC fertilizer DUMP threatening all ducks & fish (and kids) at the FEEDING STATION.

Clean it up ASAP before more damage is done. This is NOT how to grow grass-put sand there as it is high foot traffic area.-

Throughout the city of Huntsville, the erosion and loss of soil in ALL waterways--due to poor management, neglect, and the continued spraying of herbicides to kill plants that are holding the soil together--is creating a serious municiple crisis.

This erosion & poor management has been occurring for the past 5-10 years--not just because we have had much rain this year.

Soil loss is now coming dangerously close to roadways, light poles, trees, and more, I would like to know the city's--and the Corps of Engineers--strategy for dealing with this serious, expensive public works catastrophe.

Is the city/COE going to wait for a road to wash away....a light pole to fall and perhaps cause fatalities....continue to spray and kill the only thing that is holding the earth together?

What is the plan to address this serious issue throughout the entire city?

Finally, WHY does the practice of spraying/killing plants on shores still occur?

This issue was Archived last spring, but we did not get an answer to the issue.

The Piedmont Neighborhood Association is concerned with the street condition in the neighborhood. While the newer streets of Teakwood Dr SW and Mulberry Ln have been resurfaced, the rest of the neighborhood suffers from damaged street surfaces in need of resurfacing--not temporary patches.

In addition, the neighborhood hosts (with the assistance of HPD) a childrens' running and biking event in the streets each summer which is open to the public. The deteriorating condition of the roads make it more dangerous for the children.

Would you please inform us as to how the City determines priority for resurfacing of streets. We believe many of our streets are overdue for this service.

    Thank you.

Hello! I just wanted to write to say how much I value this SEECLICKFIX interface. I appreciate how timely issues are directed to the proper departments, in an effort to solve the problems that folks may find out in our city.

    Thank you very much.

While this drainage issue may have been repaired before, the backup of this sewer is an ongoing issue. Please consider a long term fix for this problem before the water backs up into the neighborhood clubhouse facility that the water pools in front of.

Can you please provide the name of the property owner of the VBC parking lots that are charged $5 for parking by Boy Scout Troop 400. These lots are charged a fee to park, yet are not monitored by anyone after events have begun.

I would assume that the City would not allow for the complete monopoly of this Boy Scout Troop, and that the property owner would be advised to allow other organizations to take part in the fund raising opportunity.

    Please advise, Thank you!

Twice each day, my family & neighbors are disturbed by the VERY LOUD muffler/exhaust system of our neighbor's car. This nusiance noise is much more signifcant than the radio noise that the City Council felt obliged to make an noise ordinace for.

Why does the city not have a noise ordinance in regard to this and MANY other loud vehicles on the road? I understand that this may be covered at the state level, but I would like to know why the local government has not dealt with this issue.

Please advise as to who I can contact in re: to this disturbing issue. Thank you.
