Description
The Piedmont Neighborhood Association is concerned with the street condition in the neighborhood. While the newer streets of Teakwood Dr SW and Mulberry Ln have been resurfaced, the rest of the neighborhood suffers from damaged street surfaces in need of resurfacing--not temporary patches.
In addition, the neighborhood hosts (with the assistance of HPD) a childrens' running and biking event in the streets each summer which is open to the public. The deteriorating condition of the roads make it more dangerous for the children.
Would you please inform us as to how the City determines priority for resurfacing of streets. We believe many of our streets are overdue for this service.
Thank you.

I also had sent comments about the poor condition of Chateau Dr. and Westburg around the hospital. It is awful.

Thank you for reaching you to us! We will add your roadway to the list under consideration for future paving operations. Resident requests, while appreciated, do not alone guarantee that a roadway will necessarily be scheduled for repaving. If you would like to discuss this further please call Huntsville Public Works at (256) 883-3944.
Thank you,
Your Huntsville Connect Customer Service Team
