On 4/4/2014, Animal Control Officers responded to 816 Ravenwood Drive in reference to barking dogs. Upon officers arrival they observed three dogs in the front of the property. Each dog was wearing an invisible fence collar. There was a crème colored terrier mix which continues to bark. Officer contacted the home owner by phone and he later arrived on the scene. The owner advised the terrier mix had his vocal cords shaved in order to minimize barking. Officers requested rabies inoculation records for each dog which the owner failed to produce. He was cited for failure to provide proof of rabies inoculation for three dogs. (Citation # 6973) He was advised of barking dog law and verbally warned. The owner stated he would invest in a bark collar. Animal Control Unit will continue to monitor this situation. The complainant is encouraged to call the unit for further complaints.
