It is very dark behind there and my son was hit by a car in a hit and run and he was able to say weather the car was black or blue because its very dark behind there.

Providing a pole number and/or a more precise location is important. Once your issue is submitted, the Transportation, Traffic and Parking Department will acknowledge the issue and create a maintenance/repair work order.
