We need to demand that EACH candidate for Mayor explicitly declare their plan for resolving the Oakland dumping, blight, abandoned building crisis. No more excuses for why they cannot or will not do this.

I liked Courtney Ruby's audit of and recommendations for the PWA.

Our district 7 city councilman needs to prioritize this area which has had illegal dumping issues for years. There is question of his lack of focus on day to day issues in particular neighborhoods...G St being one of them.

I have heard that Mr. Reid may not be well - thus it could be more complicated - - either way, it is a shame, and a business owner, and employer, it is leading us to consider our options.

I look at things like that photo above and this one I've attached and I ask, "Why?"

I've heard he's ill as well yet still ran in 2012 to finish up uncompleted projects. I wish him to please get better, yet G St neighborhood wasn't one of his priority projects when he was well. My point is he has staff, family, and others to help with prioritizing, but are they listening to us on the day to day issues that hurt us.

I ponder if operationally speaking ANY of the SEE CLICK FIX issues in our area should EVER be considered closed. Ultimately they are not - there is 24/7 trashing everywhere here. It is a game of whack a mole. The City's choice, either from inability or [xyz] to not simply patrol the area, is clearly a #FAIL to anyone that is so involved.

I wish [t]hey would choose to respond to SCF - vs Robosigning - which is all they do as everyone here knows; that robo-signing foments the view by the citizens that the City of Oakland disrespects them - but I guess their [wrong] rules prevent them from communicating ?? (anyone listening City of Oakland - to date - dead air only - and robo signing - get my point??? ) WHY? Bad Mayor? Bad Union Rules? Bad Supervisors? Bad ???? I am out of ideas - but I do know that we would be most included to relocate our company if circumstances presented themselves - guess no one care about that either right?
