I agree it's ridiculous the amount of dog poo is on the sidewalk leading all the way to the small park. No one does anything to these irresponsible dog owners.

Spoke with animal control and they stated they will patrol the area to identify which dog (Owner) is responsible. They have to be able to identify the owner before citations can be written

What about the waste cleanup? Who is reaponsible for that?

Still waiting to know who is responsible for clean-up if the owner did not clean-up? Property owner? Who is responsible for the stretch of concrete between the road and sidewalk? City?

I contacted Animal Control and DGS. Animal control and DGS both stated they are not responsible for the clean up. The DGS representative I spoke with stated that it is the responsibility of the home owner to remove the dog feces if it is on there property including the sidewalk in front of their property. I hope that this helps.

That is funny. When I called DGS myself and spoke with them, I was told it was DGS. This was yesterday and they said they woukd send someone to clean it up.

If it is indeed DGS they need to clean it up. If it is the property owner, what isngoing to ve done to them to get this public health issue take care of?

Yup. When you turn down Hudson and can see feces on the sidewalk FROM THE CAR, there is a problem. Go ticket every house or clean it up.

Ontario Street by Bleeker Stadium is the same way. Dog owners walking dogs, Not cleaning up. I've had it in front of my house on sidewalk, in flower beds around trees and on a sunny day it smells like a cattle farm. I'm going to start delivering it back to owners since I know where they live.

Why aren't these irresponsible dog walkers/owners fined? This is unsanitary and a health risk.
