Garbage and cardboard boxes in front of home have been there for 3 weeks. Trash will not pick up. I believe because it is mostly cardboard boxes, they need to be put in the recycling bin for pickup. Landlord offsite.

3 weeks is way too long to keep those kind of items out and not picked up by recycling. Perhaps the cardboard is not broken down to the right size or it is not secured together properly.
I took a bicycle ride for the first time in ages today. I noticed alot of trash such as dirty pampers among other things obviously dropped during trash collection. I do not mean to insult anyone but Citizens of Meriden, please get out there and pickup in the gutter areas and around your homes. I have heard some people complaining that where they live "its so ghetto" Stop bellyaching and clean your streets up. I found it difficult to ride my bicycle close to the gutter area and at times had to swerve into the street where cars belong because of the discarded items not being picked up. Please show some pride of rentership and/or home ownership
