Description

Previous Issue ID: 9013493
Existing Street light has been out for several months.
This light is on a dark curve. As cars round the curve, headlights shine into yards rather than on the street creating a hazard for pedestrians who often walk along the edge of the street while curbing their pets.
There has been a green Dominion Power sign on the pole for several months stating, "Underground repair required".
Previous Issue ID 9013493 comments from PW Clerk: "Dominion Energy has investigated the issue and determined this is an underground cable issue. Per Dominion Energy, this type of repair typically takes 2 to 3 weeks but could take longer. Staff at Dominion Energy stated there have been an increased number of outages and they are working diligently to address outages all over the City."
I don't think it is fair to the City or home owners that Dominion Power is using a canned "cant deal with this now" statement as an excuse to not address this issue.
Thank you all in VB Public Works for all you do to keep Virginia Beach running, safe, and beautiful!
