Parking enforcement has been random, even when reported- someone is doing favors and looking the other way. please provide a record of every time this was reported and how so I can FOI all information as I am bringing this to the Board of Alders for investigation.

To Whom It May Concern ("You will be held responsible ..." and "Really" and "Transportation, Traffic & Parking Dept. Supervisor"). Thank for looking into this issue for me, it was greatly appreciated. The Parking Ban is now over, and another snow "event" may occur on Wednesday, but the same "abandoned vehicle, old snow, old ice, and then the new snow" will happen all over again. I was trying to do something for the owner of the house where I live. She is an older woman, who had fallen, while trying to leave her home due to all the snow and ice left because the city snow plows had to go around the abandoned vehicle in front of our home. To "Guest - Acknowledged": Yes, the "forest green van", and the "cement snow/ice" are still in front of 691-693 Winchester Avenue. I apologize to any, and all, departments involved in resolving this issue for me (and my family) for continuing to bring this issue up, but, with a new snow storm being predicted for Monday, 3/3/14, I was just hoping to "close" this BEFORE it becomes an "issue" again. I have called Public Works (Quinton) and called Police (Cheryl?) on 2/11/14 and 2/12/14, and used ClickFix on 2/14/14 (OTHER-940901). "Mother Nature" helped a great deal with the "issue" (with the sun and rain melting a lot of the snow), but the van and "cement snow/ice" still remain in front of 691-693 Winchester Avenue, as "an abandoned vehicle" and "snow removal" issues. Thank you for responding back. I, however, am confused about something. Does "closing the issue" mean that "it" has been addressed, and "the van and snow" will be removed TODAY, or, is the issue just closed?

The issue will be closed once the Acknowledging Department has done something-(hopefully resolved the issue) You need to call Traffic and Parking and remind them this issue has been outstanding for several weeks with no response- Ask to speak with Doug, give him the Issue ID:
947849, he is very attentive to these issues once brought to his attention.

Or you can call the PD again.

You should NEVER have to apologize for bringing up an issue that is responsibility of the City- that is what are tax dollars pay for and they should respond timely.

For future reference, if you close an issue it will be considered resolved and the issue no longer exists.

I never wanted to become a "nagger" or a "complainer", but when the owner of the house that I live in (older woman) fell, because of the issues that I had mentioned in my "complaint", THAT was very upsetting to me, and I felt that I needed to do something to "help", so I started using "CLICKFIX". As I started to respond, I heard a noise outside of my window ... AND ... "guess what?" ... there is a man (a stranger) who is "chopping the cement snow/ice" around the "forest green van" ... AND ... "my heart has skipped a beat" with anticipation of WHAT may come next!!!! My knees are "sore" from all the praying that I have done to get this situation resolved ... AND ... I guess "prayers really do work"! Hopefully by the end of this week the "forest green van" will be just a memory to all of us! THANK YOU!

The "owners" (a man and a woman) of the forest green van came on Thursday and moved their vehicle. It took them quite awhile to "chisel" their vehicle out of the "cement snow/ice", but they got it and drove it away. The "cement snow/ice" is left behind, but with a new snowstorm expected on Sunday and Monday ... the snow plows can "hopefully" remove ALL of the snow off of the street.
