In addition to the pothole hazard, the adjacent buckled roadway surface is a real hazard. Already it has caused several tripping accidents, including a significant laceration to one of the DOT's employees, an arborist who was assessing a street tree at this location. DOT has been previously notified of this problem, but has not responded in over one year. Tort lawyers take notice.
