Please, please get this done. I live within earshot of this intersection and have heard so many accidents over the years. I avoid making a left turn on to Chapel and drive over to Ellsworth instead. I cross Blvd into the park almost daily, and I feel as if I'm taking my life into my hands every time.

This is an extremely busy intersection. Traffic moves at a very high rate of speed. Drivers run the light here all the time.It would be great to have a crosswalk light here to ease crossing into the park.

A major gateway to Edgewood Park and both the West River and Edgewood neighborhoods, this intersection deserves some immediate improvements, perhaps bumping out the corner of the park - or all four corners even - with flexible bollards, and a solar-powered flashing pedestrian signal (like on Blake and Stone Streets) across Blvd. to the park. Long-term, it should get pedestrian signals and all four corners bumped out to slow traffic and make the pedestrian crossings substantially narrower. Thanks for posting, Billy!

Please do something at this intersection. In fact the entire RT 10 needs work on making it accessible for multi modes of transportation.

Many people from West River, Dwight and Edgewood neighbohoods go to and from Edgewood Park across Ella Grasso Blvd. at Chapel St. Vehicular traffic moves too fast; it needs to be slowed down to follow the speed limit. A pedestrian signal would help and narrowing Chapel St. alongside the park would help, too.

This intersection is very dangerous. Residents have difficulty crossing these streets.

Please install crossing signals!

Fixing this would also make it safer for children walking to and from Edgewood School. For the sake of kids now AND in the warmer months, this needs a pedestrian walk signal.
