Description
These giant trucks are coming more frequently, 7 days a week and all hours of the day and the night, south and north bound on Palisado from Pierson. Last night I thought they were having a parade. My personal favorites are the 2am-4am wake-up drive-bys. As a resident on Palisado for over 20 years I'm wondering what gives? Is this business even legal as it is registered as a single owner with only one truck? We moved to this area because it was quiet and peaceful. Bad enough we have to put up with the noise from the gun range and now all we hear are revving engines, constant beeping, jake breaks, and speeding trucks. Since when did the town allow Pierson/Palisado to become a truck depot and a drag track for truckers??

Bob Ruzzo has advised me to call the police regarding the noise which I have done multiple times. Last night I had the police come to my house to hear the truck noise, which the officer acknowledged. The officer was sympathetic and said they go to the property, but not a lot they can do and report the issue back to the Town planning and zoning department. It feels as though we are caught in a loop with no recourse and a town government that cares more about tax dollars from a business not legally zoned to operate in this area than they do the tax paying residents of the town.
I encourage everyone in the area to call the town planning and zoning office and call the town council members and demand action.
