This crack has not been repaired yet. It has gotten worse and there is an additional lifting on the adjacent sidewalk flag (section).

This was reported to Contra Costa Public Works over a year ago with no success.

They don't care about un incorporated Rodeo! And we have a @#$% chamber of commerce. I have emailed them for help before and not even a word back from them! Shame!

The membership of the Rodeo Chamber of Commerce is made up of local business owners. There concerns typically include stimulating business in Rodeo. Yours and my concerns about roads and sidewalks is not there concern unless it affects their business. Contra Costa County Public Works is the people to blame for nonaction. But the bottom line is that the homeowner or business owner is responsible financial for the sidewalk in front of their home or business. Lefty Gomez Field is owned by John Swett School District and leased to Contra Costa County for the communities use.

Hence the problem..... Neither John Swett School District and CC County are both short of money for most repairs. That is the reality.... However we should still continue to harass Contra Costa County.

There is also a second sidewalk trip hazard on the sidewalk by the Lefty Gomez Field Snack Bar area.

These are still in need of being repaired and becoming more of a trip hazard every day
