Also, the new solar powered speed limit sign close to 15 Atkinson St. does not work after dark. The solar panel is turned away from the direct sunlight. Sorry to add this to another issue, however, the speed limit sign was already archived. Thanks, Allan Gamble.

Thank you for reporting the hole and the issues with the speed sign. We checked our utility mapping and performed preliminary inspections to investigate the hole last week. We are still in the process of checking nearby utilities, before the hole can be filled. We want to be sure any necessary repairs are made, if needed. We also repositioned the solar panel to try to get better sunlight. Thanks again for letting us know.

The sink hole is of more concern to me than the solar panel.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. The pipe has been repaired and the hole filled by our Street Department. While on Atkinson Street we also noticed the radar sign has reverted back to kilomoters per hour. We will be back out to change it back to miles per hour.
