This alley gets so much traffic from the church/school it forms potholes a week after it is repaired. It should really be a paved street or repaired ever other week. E Lock Lane and between Cary and Grove.

@Neighborhood person. Here's how this is going to go down:
1. The City will acknowledge your complaint (done).
2. Then another City person will state that their equipment to fix the alley is being repaired.
3. Next the City will repost my comment with my personal email address (not sure why but they don't have anything better to do).
4. Finally, the City will close this request (they've done that with several other alley repair requests) hoping you don't notice.
5. Then the cycle begins again.
6. Do-loop, rinse and repeat. Good luck!

@Neighborhood person. Enough is enough.
Please call the Mayor at 646-7970. You should at least be getting SOMETHING for your high tax dollars.

This was just copy and pasted from the same message in January?
Are the really "engaged in leaf removal" in June?
Since this issue has been shuffled around for close to 4 years now, I think it is best to keep the ticket open so the public can see what is being done and how the city handles these request.

6/26/2014 - Thanks for your great communication with Richmond City Government online. After researching this location, it is revealed that the Gravel Alley actually runs behind the odd number houses for Willway Ave. 17 Willway Ave was used as a reference point to ask Alley Repair Mgmt (20020946101) to please smooth alley well and place new gravels. Asphalt Paving costs are so enormous that Richmond's policy is to continually grade and chip unpaved alley surfaces when they wear out. This alley repair has been formally submitted to Richmond Alley Repair Mgmt (20020946101) to ask them to please come though to repair in the near future.
We appreciate your communication that helps us in “Building The Best Richmond” together – rtt
