this is still a cronic problem, and it seems to be getting worst . i would love it if the city would send out tickets, the same way the tickets are sent out for the people who don't stop for red lights, using the cameria systems all around the city. this is so ugly ,stinky, and now that the warm weather is here uhg. emagine being the family whos windows are directlly under the trees that these owners let their dog poop on , i would be frantic . it makes me angry to pass by a beautiful tree lined street only to see/smell this blight. the city needs to take action agenst these dog owners it is really bad and if you can't bend over to pick up then you shouldn't own the dog, or pay a fine, the city needs the money and this would generate plenty...........

This is one poo that i don't know what to do! How to get people to pick-up their dogie-poop , and not leave behind the remenance of their dog's behind, after all how many of you have walked down the street & a good wiff, or , while walking , stepped into a pile, mabe your car has driven over the "stuff". All leaving a very un-pleasent oder. Or you have gotten home carring the poop with you unnoticed, possable sernarios, that most of us have come accross. Well where are the tickets , the city needs to give these tickets to send out the message . A strong enough message that anyone with a dog will know that, cvurbing , or bringing the dog to a tree site is not accatable. pick-up or pay-up, the city needs $$$$ well here Mr Mayor coellect the cash .

this is an issue that goes to the heart of a neaghborhood,showing how the people who live in the neighborhood care how it looks, smells, & feels. If the school ,p.s.102 dosen't show concern , & teach its children to have concern for the area then its just a pile of poop. At p.s. 102 there garbage tells the entire story, it is thrown about like it5 don.t matter because the poter doesn't live here and the people really don't care.. Their garbage gets picked-up and a rot smell is left behind. milk and left over food that ,after the bag's are broken is left to fester in the sun. oh and it really doesn't matter if it is winter 'spring or summer it STINKS. the same is said for the owners of the area dogs, no pick-up and that poop is left to fester in the sun , it STINKS. thhis is a poorer neighborhood ,but that doesn't mean that we can't have a clean safe place to live . and that leaves behind a good impression , causing the resedents to take notice and hopefully follow suit. Lets get this area cleaned up! Taylor , Gurilane, Archer, Beach,Theriot aves.

Here goes one more time , the poop is still being left be-hind, lets be-kind and pick up the poo, do , IT STINKS, and I for one do-not want to step in the poo. Now that summer is approching we girls like to ware sandles , ha ,not on this block or the surronding area, [Taylor, Gurelane, Archer, Beach, and Lealand aves. If your windows are are street level oh, lets just say ,what a drag. People get together, get after the super to sweep up, clean there garbage area, and the folks who don,t pick - up you should be ashamed. The people who own dogs , any , small, big it don't matter , the dog goes to its tree , stepping it all the poop left be-hind from the previous visit, or the dog who just left a load, then the doggie prints of poop follow right to HOME, it is so distusting . And weather or not in the rain or shine rich or poor, homeless or not who likes to smell/step in poop, & garbage . Hay and about the school PS 102 , they put their garbage out , the milk sits on the sidewalk, food left after their garbage pick-up oh it is really not nessisary, the porter should be out there with a hose and some clenser. The workers of PS 102 may not live in this neighborhood and so they go to and from work with blinders on , but those children who go to this school live in the surronding area , they are struggling enough just being a child in a low income area , this school needs to clean up there act. The front is cleaner but not really , plant flowers show the children that the school is a great place to go , children see and learn. Poop and garbage should not be part of their daily walk to school , this is and should be there SAFEST inverioment. I do believe the point is very clear . It needs to be addressed by the people of this area , the elected officals we put into office, and just because we don't have , "the big cash" , this is where the officials come for votes, earn those votes . The mayor of this city , ha do you really think he cares about this small community ,I don't think so .

This has not been enforced I truly believe that those owners of dogs need to start bending and cleaning up after their dogs. I am a pet lover , all kinds of pets , but, if you take on the responsibility of owning one of these beautiful creatures that becomes one of your family, weather for safety, fun companionship or love . You need to also clean up after that animal. It becomes an eye-sore to the community to have piles of dog POOP all throughout the sidewalk , on the steps leading into a building , inside the building , in the playground and I might add the area around the new trees that were planted. These trees were planted to not only beautify the community but for the quality of air. They were not put there for your dogs new spot to pee and poop, but if they do CLEAN UP. This is such a bad problem and now that the New Year is here lets turn a new leaf , scoop the poop. One other issue I have is the garbage that has piled up on the side of 1535 Taylor ave. There is standing water and it has become a garbage dump. This is not only a nasty gross look but a FIRE HAZARD as well. The same is true inside the building at 1535 Taylor avenue. The building went into foreclosure and these issues started to get fixed but it seems the management that The tenants are left to the dangerous situation that is in the waiting. There has been know cases of Bed-Bugs, and people stealing con-ed from other apts. This is all the Management , that same management that is sure to leave the rent envelope under the door or in the broken mailboxes. oh how wonderful , for 2 days the cityof NY, Health and mental highene came to 1535 Taylor ave, to clean out the mound of garbage that has been acumulating . There was garbage that extended the length of the building, and as high as one flight up. Becides this there is standing water it is an eye-sore. But with this problem is the inside of the building, there are mice , rats, bed bugs infestation becaust there are empty apts that are stripped down to the brick, there is no door , just ply-wood; other apt. are the same with doors but no lock. There are children in the halls playing and right next to them the walls have been stripped to the brick just around the hall windows, this is so distusting . But with all of thisa I need to thank those guys that stayed cleaning out the garbage . coodos, one for the good-guys . Thanks

Its the same , dogging dog bullets, and the SCHOOL PS102 they leave the garbage on taylor ave and it has a vile smell even in the cold weather. When the sanation comes and removes the garbage the left behind food and milk just sits there to fester, its in the cracks of the sidwalk . I can't believe that the SCHOOL allows this nasty mess to continue . Children enter from this side entrance , there hope is left with the smell they indure . Not only in there halls & the poop in the street but where it should be SAFE for these children. In June there was a shooting on the corner of the school , they closed down the school because there were kids inside . This is nothing new for this neighborhood. There are dealers of drugs every ware around the school and the following blocks . The buildings are riddled with garbage ,to wonder why they turn out like the big shot on the corner is a brainer. Something needs to change for these children . Its not just this school its become a norm . When youg familys go looking for an apt. these are where they go and pay rent barelly making it through a month. There has been no change in this city for a long time it goes on and on and the burocrates will tell you how eat of a change that has happend. They l show you coupple of classes that are good bring in a news crew to the school of there choice . Let the crew go un-anonced stop in when no opne expects and see, walk the hood , go into the hallways where they live . This is not America equalnd free for all . I base this on looking at it from a colorless point of viewIts a educational issue tart wit structer ,uniforms , the clothing worn by students is atrousoisabe you can't chan\ge the ones already in it but it can start at the bottom and continue from there . The familys who cannot aford a uniform , give them a stipend to get the things needed. Get the parents involved in the school by offering them to come and help at the school their children are attending .hange the CHILDREN change the US make it a proud nation again. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSElF PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG< TEACH THE CHILDREN TO DO THE SAME.
