At the intersection of Tryon Rd. and Trailwood Dr. it can be dangerous when trying to make a legal U-turn because the cars coming off of Trailwood wanting to turn right on Tryon do not typically yield to cars making the U-turns. The cars are turning right on red while the U-turn has the green light so its the U-turn drivers right of way correct? There is a small, poorly placed "yield to U-turn" sign for these cars coming off of Trailwood, but it would be better placed to make it more obvious than have it tucked away behind the wires holding up the traffic lights. Is it possible to put a sign post with this sign on the ground at the corner of Trailwood? Something that can better grab the attention of the drivers would be much appreciated.
